Thisone is going out to all my US fans

Bild: We Beelieve
Just watching my Hornets fighting the Denver Nuggets. I became a Hornets-fan back in the nineties, because they were a young crescent team with a cool funny logo. They had the tiniest player in basketball history + an uprising star in a former boxer with a golden tooth fashioning lika grandmother. Actually i still wear Converse because of him. Aditionally they had the cool 3-point-bomber with the name of a spice. What kind of fun it had been! Allergic to bees and falling in love with some colorful concept of teal and purple, i found myself as a Hornets fan for years, until the moved to New Orleans, with all their players. But they still had their colors and their reputation with them. Though their accomplishments were never respected in their new home. New Oreleans did not retire Muggsys number. But as time goes by, the New Orleans franchise decided to become more local and rebrand itself to the national insignia of Louisiana, the Pelicans, the new lousy Charlotte franchise under their new owner, legend Air Jordan, will sooner or later take back the Hornets-name to where it belongs.
So, as a fan, you had to decide twice:
At first, you were still a Hornets-fan, when they moved to New Orleans, because u knew the players like Mashburn, Dickau and Nailon.
As soon as the people in Charlotte got their new team, with boring colors and low success, you stick with the Hornets.
2007 was a big year for the Hornets with CP3, Chandler and Peja, and finally the guys from hornets247 made it a no-brainer, with which team you stick.
But what always had been missing, was the respect to Muggsy, LJ & Co. They always wanted a New Orleans thing, for their reason.
Now, since it appears, that Charlotte will revive its tradition, it s kind of a tough decision for a fan, what to do, whom you gonna root for. But i prefer Muggsy to CP3, i prefer teal over red and blue, and i prefer insects over birds, though i must conceed that New Orleans is kind of a cool city with its Mardi Gras, the sea thing and its kitchen.
I'm a Hornets-fan because of Muggsy, the bee-thing, the fun they had, and i've never seen that respected in New Orleans. I really like their logo, and Greivis and SideshowRob, and the people from hornets24/7, but i'm also attracted by the play of Kemba, Hendo and Bismack, meanwhile.
So, thanks for the New Orleans people for all the fun they provided, the last years!
